Emperor Theophilus (or Theophilos) of Constantinople may not have been a great war leader, but his reign was filled with interesting events and adventures. The Byzantine historian, John Skylitzes, wrote about many of those intriguing occurrences – this video is about a bizarre joust witnessed by Theophilus.
